Info by Division
Adjudication of controversies between individual parties, the redress of private rights, and hearings for child welfare cases.
Collections provides direct assistance in order to facilitate payment of delinquent fines and fees. Fines and fees may be related to Criminal, Traffic, Family Law or Jury matters.
Our Criminal Division contains information to help you resolve warrants and pay your court ordered fines. It also provides basic information on other topics such as filing an appeal, upcoming criminal calendars, how to request copies of court records and how to clear your criminal record.
Family Law is an area of the law that deals with family-related issues and domestic relations including:
- the nature of marriage,
- adoption and child abuse,
- divorce, annulment, and alimony.
In California, as in all states, there is a separate court system for persons under the age of 18, who are known as minors or juveniles. The juvenile court system was established with the belief that children could be successfully rehabilitated through intensive counseling, education and guidance, rather than punishing them in the adult criminal justice system.
Our Traffic Division contains information to help you resolve traffic citations, interact with the court, and if or how to go to traffic school.
- Pay your ticket on-line
- About your traffic ticket - general information and steps to take
- Traffic School - eligibility and list of accepted schools
